What Is The Most Private Phone?

What is the most private phone and what makes a phone private? That is the question...

Smartphones are ultimate spying devices. Apple is collecting your detailed usage information even if you opt out. Google is tracking your location even if you turn it off entirely. And the predatory advertising industry is gathering, selling and sharing your data with no precautions, making you fall victim to scammers, fraudsters or power-tripping cops. Of course, the big tech is getting backlash for the dystopia they are building for us.

The futility of Ad-Blockers

Ads are filling the entirety of the Web -- websites, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. -- at an increasing rate. Prices for those ad placements are plummeting. Consumers are desperate to use ad-blockers to make the web palatable. Google (and others) are desperate to break and block ad-blockers. All of which results in... more ads and lower pay for creators.

It's a fascinatingly annoying cycle. And there's only one viable way out of it.

openSUSE says "No Lunduke allowed!"

Those in power with openSUSE make it clear they will not allow me anywhere near anything related to the openSUSE project. Ever. For any reason.

Well, that settles that, then! Guess I won't be contributing to openSUSE! 🤣

"Andreas Kling creator of Serenity OS & Ladybird Web Browser" - Lunduke’s Big Tech Show - September 13th, 2023 - Ep 044

I got bored and decided I wanted to install Compiz because I miss my desktop turning into a 3d cube. However, I know it hasn't had any development in like 10 years but it's still part of the Arch repository so I figured it must still be possible to use.
I think I used to use it with XFCE years ago. But I couldn't get that working. So I tried a few desktops, installed X11 and removed Wayland. Still, nothing.
I couldn't get it to manually compile to save my life.
I have no clue what to do to get it working anymore which is really sad because that was the absolute best wrapper for Linux ever.
Anybody know any instructions anywhere for getting it to run on Arch?

On a side note, OMG do I love X11. I didn't realize how much I hated Wayland. I have a touch screen laptop and some times I have an external touch kiosk I like to use. Wayland gets so screwed up with 2 touch screens but X11 just picked it up and worked. What was wrong with X11 again?
