Linux Sucks 2023 announcement on Monday (and other important tidbits)
Hello you amazing nerds! A few quick updates for everyone... because -- oh-my-gosh -- there is a lot going on around The Lunduke Journal!
Linux Sucks 2023
On Monday I will be announcing the date and time (and some other details) for Linux Sucks 2023.
It will be live streamed right from Lunduke.Locals.com, and made available (on demand) from Locals immediately after the show. Full subscribers only. Naturally.
Updated Event Schedule
Because of the particulars of that schedule, I am also making a few tweaks to the schedule of upcoming events.
No events this weekend -- the updated dates and times will appear on Monday morning (along with the Linux Sucks 2023 announcement).

Setting Podcast Episodes Free
There are currently a couple podcast episodes (past and future) that folks have made pledges for -- to set them free for the public (non-Lunduke Journal subscribers) to enjoy.
-
Episode (Current Pledge Level / Needed Pledge Level)
-
Chris Fisher on Linux ($100 / $200)
-
Andreas Kling ($100 / $200)
If you'd like to pitch in on any off those (or others), here's the details:

Upcoming Podcast Schedule
Two fantastic guests next week on the show:
Mon, Sept 4 - Guest: Chris Titus - "The Art of Making Windows Tolerable"
Tue, Sept 5 - The Joy of Digital Prepping (even if nothing goes wrong)
Wed, Sept 6 - Guest: Andreas Kling - "Serenity OS & Ladybird Browser"
Thur, Sept 7 - Ask Lunduke Q & A
In the coming days I will announce the line-up for the week after that. A little hint: more fantastically nerdy guests. We're on a roll.
Reminder: We don't do sales anymore
During the early years of The Lunduke Journal, we had many sales to kick start things. That is no longer necessary and we now have a pretty firm "no sales" policy.
No sales. No Lifetime option. Only a simple "Monthly" or "Yearly" subscription.
So, if you've been feeling the urge to snag a Lunduke Journal subscription (because you don't want to miss out), but you've been waiting for a good sale to come around... you'll be waiting a long, long time.
My recommendation if you are looking for the best deal: Go with the Yearly option on Locals. It gives you 3 free months per year (over the cost of doing a monthly subscription). It's the best way to go.
That's all for now! Go forth and do something nerdy! š
