So much going on. Such much awesome information I need to get out to all of you.
Here it is. Soak it in, my nerds.
In-Person Event & Survey
We’re looking at hosting an official, in-person event in the coming months (to be hosted in the South of the USA). To facilitate that, here’s a (very) quick survey:
Lunduke Journal Survey - September, 2023
There are a few other questions in there — including the opportunity for you to make interview guest requests — so it’s worth taking 2 minutes to answer the couple questions. (The survey uses Google Forms… but no Google account is required, no personal information is collected, and you can even do it in a private browser.)
Fun Interviews Next Week
Last week was amazing. And this next week looks to be even more-so.
Some upcoming highlights (for me)? These two interviews:
Monday - Ben Heckendorn of "The Ben Heck Show" [on ConservativeNerds.Locals.com]
Wednesday - Andreas Kling of Serenity OS & Ladybird Browser [on Lunduke.Locals.com]
There’s a bunch of other fun stuff happening next week… but those two interviews have me pretty excited. And the week after? More radical interviews. The Lunduke Journal is talking to some of the best nerds on Earth, baby!
Where to find Lunduke around the Inter-tubes
The three core Lunduke Journal sites (on Locals.com):
Other places you can find Lunduke and Lunduke Journal content around the Internet:
E-Mail: [email protected]
We also have a Discord server. Only full subscribers to The Lunduke Journal (on Locals) get an invite. Very hush-hush.
Other Notes from Lunduke
The “Message Lunduke” feature of Locals — where you could send me a private message — is going away at the end of the month. The Locals team is simply ending that feature of Locals entirely. For the moment, if you want to send me a private message, E-Mail and private messages on Discord are the two best options (see above).
… also …
We are currently working to hit our subscription goals for 2023 by the end of this month — that will allow us to afford to provide the next “Linux Sucks” for free for the public (non-subscribers) and to provide a public RSS podcast feed.
We’re not doing a sale or anything — as we don’t do sales anymore — but if you want to help in our quest (and help yourself in the process), be sure you grab a subscription to one (or more) of the Locals.com sites listed in the previous section.
Yours in nerdiness,
