'Twas the Weekend Before Christmas!

To all of you amazing nerds who celebrate, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas! I hope all of you have a truly wonderful Christmas.

I have a few hard-hitting articles planned for next week -- after Christmas is over -- including new leaked material from Red Hat, IBM, and others. But, through Monday, the plan is to keep things light and goofy (unless something crazy comes up).

I have a few new IBM leaks that I will be publishing this weekend -- but those will be extremely silly by comparison. šŸ˜Ž You'll see.

The futility of Ad-Blockers

Ads are filling the entirety of the Web -- websites, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. -- at an increasing rate. Prices for those ad placements are plummeting. Consumers are desperate to use ad-blockers to make the web palatable. Google (and others) are desperate to break and block ad-blockers. All of which results in... more ads and lower pay for creators.

It's a fascinatingly annoying cycle. And there's only one viable way out of it.

Google really wanted me to let you know about this. As my "Recommended" programming, oops I mean viewing for today.

And, it is basically them telling what some of us already realize. It is ALL going to so-called artificial intelligence (AI). It doesn't matter how much anyone cares to doubt or deny it.
