One week in... 2 1/2 weeks to go. This is for the future of Tech Journalism.
Last week, we kicked off a goal to hit some major milestones during the month of September:
https://lunduke.locals.com/post/4544462/want-a-public-mp3-rss-feed-and-linux-sucks-free-for-all-heres-how-we-do-it
And we're off to a solidly good start. Right now we're well on our way to hitting the first goal (which allows us to afford to release "Linux Sucks 2023" for free for the world)... and that puts the other two goals (including making the podcast a freely accessible RSS feed) within striking distance.
This is important. Not just for The Lunduke Journal... but for the future of Tech Journalism as a whole.
A lot of creators -- journalists, podcasters, and YouTubers alike -- are watching The Lunduke Journal right now. Waiting to see if we continue to grow and succeed by using our model of ad-free, Big-Tech-free, subscriber-supported content publishing.
Several creators are right on the fence of ditching their Big-Tech-tied, ad-supported, broken systems... in favor of the type of awesomeness we have here at The Lunduke Journal. By hitting these goals... that sends a clear signal. This is the way we can save Tech Journalism.
To those of you who have already subscribed: You rule. Thank you. You are helping to make all of this possible.
To those who have not picked up a subscription yet: It's time to get on that. Support truly independent Tech Journalism. Send that message to the other creators that they can cut their ties to Big Tech.
Seriously, my nerds. We can do this.
