How many of you would like a monthly print edition of The Lunduke Journal?
A number of you have expressed interest in print editions of stuff. So I renewed my efforts into finding a printing company that would work for me.
I believe I have found a solution that I would be satisfied with (personally), and a company I trust to do it right for me. The book quality would be high, and the company handling the production would also handle 100% of the shipping. So I would hand off the final PDF and shipping list... and they take care of everything else.
Which is a big, big plus for me. (I just don't have the time to regularly handle the shipping stuff.)
So. The question:
Would you be interested in getting a monthly, print edition of The Lunduke Journal... and, if so, how much would you be willing to pay per month? It would be one-off, bulk printing to make the quality and price where it works well.
So it would be an additional subscription cost. Anyone who had that type of active subscription by the end of the month would get shipped a print version of the previous months articles. The PDF of that printed edition would also be available. Because... why not?
I'm asking about the price, because how much people (in general) are willing to pay impacts the quality of the paper, print, and type of binding.
Note: Because The Lunduke Journal does not do any advertising, the printing cost per issue is significantly higher than most publications. (Most magazines offset printing costs through ad buys.)
