Got some fun guests on the show over the next two weeks.
Ready to announce two guests for upcoming shows:
Next week:
- Chris Fisher (Jupiter Broadcasting) -- This will be two separate episodes. Episode One about Linux (past and future, from the original Linux Action Show dudes), and Episode Two about the changing business of podcasting.
The week after:
- Andreas Kling (Serenity OS, Ladybird web browser)
š Really excited about both of these. Both are locked in and ready to rock.
Those episodes will, naturally, be available for all full subscribers at Lunduke.Locals.com.
That said...
If you would like to set one of these episodes free for everyone (meaning it gets posted here for free, YouTube, Rumble, iTunes, etc.) here's the details:
1) Pick an episode from the list of upcoming episodes.
2) Decide how much you would like to pledge -- each episode needs a total of $200 to be made free-for-all. You can pledge all or part of what is needed for an episode.
3) Choose what you would like your message to be. (Optional.)
4) You can either post your pledge here in the comments... or by E-Mail. (bryan at lunduke.com). Include how you want to be credited (first name, Locals user handle, "Captain Arch Dude", etc.).
5) If your pledge is accepted -- I reserve the right to refuse any pledge (such as a message that isn't appropriate) -- I will let you know. Then, once that $200 level is met, you pay. Then I will include your message (if desired) in the episode... which will be released for free for the world.
We did this with one episode from last week and it worked pretty well. "btw i use arch" was the message. š¤£
Zero pressure to do so. Either way the episodes get made and all of the full subscribers get to enjoy them. š
