Starting this very moment -- and running until 8am on Wednesday, July 12th (exactly one week) -- we are going to be celebrating all things BASIC here at The Lunduke Journal of Technology.
The history of the programming language, interviews, highlights of some of the most interesting (and fun) incarnations of BASIC... and, of course, a chance for all of us to play around with BASIC in oh-so-many forms.
BASIC is one of the most critical programming languages for the Golden Age of computing -- from code in the back of magazines to BASIC being a core components of some of the most famous computing platforms of the 1970s and 80s... it's hard to overstate the impact of this family of programming langauges.
Follow along with Lunduke's articles -- and join in the fun by posting about your own BASIC adventure for the rest of the community to enjoy.
Especially with screenshots. Screenshots are awesome. 😎
