The company that pre-loads Chrome on Android, and makes ChromeOS, says Microsoft is "Dark" for pre-loading Edge on Windows. To make this case, they've formed "Browser Choice Alliance" with Opera & Vivaldi.
Interestingly: Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, & Brave are not involved.
Legal action seeks to cancel Oracle's "JavaScript" trademark, which it renewed fraudulently and has abandoned. Full timeline of what happens next, and what Brendan Eich (creator of JavaScript) thinks.

Will a pro-DEI & pro-Woke marketing strategy prove successful in attracting new users to a small, commercial Linux distribution? In the words of a wise man, "It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em."
Ads are filling the entirety of the Web -- websites, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. -- at an increasing rate. Prices for those ad placements are plummeting. Consumers are desperate to use ad-blockers to make the web palatable. Google (and others) are desperate to break and block ad-blockers. All of which results in... more ads and lower pay for creators.

Right now the turkey (Cajun spiced, naturally) is in the oven. Pies are ready (pumpkin and apple). “Dinner” currently set for around 2:30 or so.

I'd love to point to one particular story and say, "If you click on just one of these links... this is the link you need to click on." But... dang, man. All of these stories are absolutely insane.

Which. Not gonna lie. Feels pretty darn good.
